Reptiles are cold-blooded animals with scaly skins that can breathe air. They hatch from eggs, sometimes outside the mother's body but sometimes inside depending on type.
The Valley has Common lizards, Grass Snakes and Slow Worms, however no adders have yet been recorded.
Our Grass Snakes swim in the river and slide over the lily pads.
