Mammals are warm-blooded with hairy skin. Female mammals give birth to live young and then suckle them with milk.
Combe Valley has horses, foxes, badgers, deer, hedgehogs, moles, rabbits, shrews, mice, rats, squirrels, stoats, weasels, voles, and bats.
American mink are sometimes seen - and the sea has dolphins.

Friends of Combe Valley is a registered national charity.
